Gabriel Ferrero is an Uruguayan astronomer and physicist. He works at the University of La Plata (Argentina) as professor, researcher and head of the Argentinian office of the Gemini Observatory. Is also member of the Instituto de Astrofísica de La Plata.

Research interests: Astronomy, Stellar astrophysics, Massive stars, Spectroscopy, Near Infrared Astronomy, Science outreach
